Anyone who purchases or leases a new Ford or purchases a qualifying certified pre-owned Ford is eligible for FordPass Rewards through FordPass Connect. Once you become a member of FordPass Connect, you are automatically enrolled in FordPass Rewards. How To Get Started With FordPass Rewards Step one is to purchase or lease a new or certified pre-owned Ford. Next,download the FordPass app. Third, accept the terms of use through the app or online. You need to have a valid email address to register for FordPass. You are not required to use the app. You can access everything online with your computer. What To Do To Earn Points Once you have successfully registered after purchasing your new car, you will receive points toward complimentary maintenance. If you bought a brand new car, you will receive 42,000 points. A qualified certified pre-owned Ford will earn you 22,000 points. Each time you purchase parts or pay for qualifying service at Blubonnet Ford you will earn points as well. Purchasing a new car also earns you points. Occasionally, you will be able to watch brand specific videos or complete digital surveys to earn points in FordPass Rewards. When To Redeem Points Redeem your FordPass Rewards points when you are getting your car serviced. You can also redeem them toward qualifying vehicle purchases. The points will expire 365 calendar days after they are earned if you haven’t used them, so time is a factor. Simply using the app does not count as point saving activity. What Happens to Owner Advantage Rewards If you were a member of the Owner Advantage Rewards program, you will find that some of the rewards you have earned will transfer to the FordPass Rewards program. Dealer Funded Service Rewards will become points in FordPass Rewards. Your earned oil changes will give you 5,000 FordPass Rewards points per earned change. Oil change credits and sales rewards will not convert to FordPass Rewards.
