In just one volunteer day, our teams helped pack and distribute over 800 pounds of produce for members of our community. From sorting fruits and vegetables to preparing bags for distribution, every employee jumped in ready to work with one goal in mind — helping nourish families across New Braunfels.

What makes these volunteer days so special is the heart behind them. At Bluebonnet Ford, community involvement is not something reserved for management or a select few employees. Our entire team is highly involved, and there is a genuine passion among our staff to make a positive difference wherever we can.

The work done by the New Braunfels Food Bank is truly inspiring. Every day, they provide critical support to families, children, and seniors throughout our area who may be struggling with food insecurity. Being able to contribute our time and effort to an organization that directly impacts so many lives is something we are deeply grateful for. It reminds us that even small acts of service can create a ripple effect throughout an entire community.

The mission of the Comal County Jr. Livestock Show Association is one we deeply believe in – promoting an agricultural way of life while giving local youth the opportunity to showcase and sell the livestock projects, they've worked tirelessly to raise. Through these experiences, students gain valuable life skills including responsibility, financial management, leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of commitment to their families and community.

These students dedicate countless hours to caring for their animals, preparing for competition, and learning lessons that will stay with them far beyond the show ring. Supporting these programs means supporting the future of Comal County, and we're proud to stand behind the youth who represent the heart of our agricultural community.

This ongoing program celebrates local leaders who consistently go above and beyond to serve others – people whose impact is not measured in moments, but in years of dedication, influence, and service.

One of our recognized Community Heroes is Gary Seals. Gary has played a meaningful role in supporting local youth by helping create opportunities that didn't previously exist for middle and high school students. His efforts helped bring the New Braunfels Youth Collaborative to life, providing a space where students can grow, feel supported, and prepare for their futures. His continued commitment reflects a deep investment in strengthening the next generation and building a stronger community foundation.

We are also proud to recognize New Braunfels High School educator Ashley Riggs as a Ford Community Hero. Mrs. Riggs has demonstrated consistent leadership and dedication in the classroom, shaping the lives of her students through her passion for education. Her influence extends far beyond academics – she helps inspire confidence, resilience, and purpose in the young people she teaches, leaving a lasting impact on the community.

The Ford Community Hero program exists to highlight individuals whose everyday actions create long-term positive change. Whether through education, youth development, leadership, or community service, these honorees represent the heart of what it means to build a stronger future for New Braunfels.

Thanks to the generosity and dedication of the community, an amazing 7,733 pounds of food was collected along with a generous monetary donation to help support local families in need. Efforts like these truly reflect the heart of New Braunfels and the power of neighbors coming together to care for one another.

Bluebonnet Ford was grateful for the opportunity to provide a box truck to help safely transport all donated food items to the food bank. Supporting initiatives that help nourish families and strengthen our community is something we deeply value, and we are proud to stand beside organizations that share that same commitment to giving back.

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved in making NBTT6 DE-LIGHTS such a meaningful success. Your generosity, hard work, and community spirit continue to create a lasting impact for families across New Braunfels. This is what community looks like, and we’re grateful to be part of it.

Along with this we partnered with the Comal Couty Sherrif’s office for Green Santa, collecting Christmas gifts for children in need in New Braunfels at our Christmas Party.

After days of heavy rainfall, rising water levels caused widespread flooding throughout the region, leaving many residents in need of emergency assistance, shelter, and recovery support. In response, local organizations, first responders, and volunteers quickly mobilized to provide relief and begin the long process of rebuilding.

We were proud to support these efforts through our partnership with Ford Motor Company, working alongside Team Rubicon and the American Red Cross to help move supplies and assist ongoing relief operations. Ford Super Duty trucks played an important role in helping deliver resources where they were needed most during critical stages of the response.

We also supported broader recovery efforts in coordination with the Ark of Highland Lakes and alongside the Kahlig Auto Group, all working together to help provide aid and support to families impacted by the flooding.

In moments like these, what stands out most is the strength of the community. Neighbors helping neighbors, organizations stepping up, and countless volunteers giving their time all came together with one shared goal — to help Central Texas recover and rebuild.

We remain committed to supporting our communities in times of need and are grateful to play even a small part in helping our neighbors move forward.

Education is the foundation of every strong community, and the work happening inside our local classrooms is nothing short of life changing. Teachers in Comal ISD and NBISD go far beyond lesson plans — they serve as mentors, role models, and advocates for students every day. Whether its early mornings preparing classrooms, late nights grading assignments, or finding creative ways to reach every student, their commitment is something that deserves to be recognized and supported year-round.

At Bluebonnet Ford, we are honored to continue our annual teacher appreciation and classroom support initiatives. Each year, we work to help provide much-needed supplies, resources, and funding support to educators across our area. From classroom essentials to wish-list support, our goal is simple: to help lighten the load so teachers can continue focusing on what matters most — their students.

From meeting local families to celebrating tradition and togetherness, it was a wonderful experience for our team. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and helped make the event so special.
