Learn More About the 2018 Ford Expedition

The new Expedition is now four inches (10.2 centimeters) longer - including three inches (7.6 cm) added to the wheelbase - and 300 pounds (136 kilograms) lighter than the outgoing model.

The new Ford Expedition with plenty of features. From 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity to wireless phone charging, and even a panoramic roof.

Connectivity features aside, nothing is more important than a suite of advanced safety features. Forward collision alert, active park assist, and even a 360-degree camera give the Expedition an edge over the aging Tahoe.

2018 Expedition's 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine is capable of pumping 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. That's on 93 octane, however, and is only available in the top-spec Platinum model. Bump down to 87 octane and Ford still outdoes the Tahoe/Yukon twins-375 hp, and 410 lb-ft of torque are on tap. The Expedition now features dual injection to help boost ratings across the board.
